Weird and Religious

In Japan, there are Buddhist temples that hold memorial services for broken objects such as needles and even dolls. The idea is that objects have a kind of spiritual presence, and throwing them away without respect could be improper. Old dolls are sometimes burned in rituals rather than discarded as rubbish.

In the name of religion

2014, Sinjar region in Iraq. Islamic State forces attacked Yazidi communities, killing men and enslaving women and children. The group justified actions through extremist doctrine labelling Yazidis as unbelievers, claiming religious permission for enslavement, forced conversion, and property seizure within a self declared caliphate.

Outdated rulebook

Attempts to rescue immoral religious doctrines through reinterpretation only highlight their failure. When clear texts produce outcomes that modern conscience rejects, believers insist that the meaning is symbolic, contextual, or misunderstood. This does not elevate scripture. It concedes its inadequacy. A moral system that must be continually retranslated to remain acceptable is not eternal guidance. It is an outdated rulebook being patched to survive.

Religion is supposed to bring morality but it also seem to bring a lot of crooks who take advantage of people.
