Beyond religion

The absence of divine reason should sharpen human focus rather than dull it. If existence carries no predetermined goal or purpose, then how life is lived matters more, not less. Petty divisions born of ancient myths become intolerable when seen against the scale of what remains unknown and the fragility of our species within it. Hope remains without illusion. Discovery continues, understanding deepens, and the future may yet reveal insights or intelligences that transform the very questions we ask. Just as the present would astonish those who lived centuries ago, the future will almost certainly astonish us, revealing possibilities we cannot yet imagine. Deeper answers may one day arise not from revelation but from cooperation, evidence, and patience.
