Weird and Religious
In ancient Egypt, some gods were shown with animal heads because qualities of animals were thought to reflect divine traits. A falcon head suggested sharp sight and power, while a jackal head linked a god with cemeteries and the desert. The image was not symbolic art in the modern sense but a literal way of showing a god’s nature.

In the name of religion
1947 to 1948, Palestine. Fighting between Jewish and Arab Muslim forces included attacks on civilian areas and expulsions. Religious narratives about promised land, holy sites, and sacred duty were used by both sides to justify control and removal of populations.
Fact
In Islam, end times beliefs are present, and Islam includes teachings about signs before the final judgement, the appearance of major figures, and the eventual accountability of all people.
God the tribal leader
Gods are temperamental, requiring praise, demanding attention, and reacting badly to being ignored. They punish disbelief more harshly than cruelty because their psychology mirrors insecure authority rather than divine wisdom. These are not the traits of a supreme intelligence but the traits of a ruler who fears disloyalty. They reflect human social hierarchies where loyalty outweighs fairness and obedience is valued more than wellbeing. A god who behaves like a tribal leader makes perfect sense in a tribal society but makes no sense as a description of ultimate reality.
