Among certain Siberian shamanic traditions, shamans wore costumes covered in metal pieces and antlers to represent a spirit journey in which they symbolically died and travelled to other worlds. The clothing itself was seen as part of the transformation.

In the name of religion

1921, Malabar region in India. The Moplah Rebellion saw Muslim peasants attack Hindu landlords and others amid anti colonial unrest. Some rebels framed actions as religious struggle, invoking jihad language, while authorities and victims viewed violence as sectarian aggression.

In Hinduism, samsara is the continuing cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, in which the inner self moves through many lives rather than existing only once.

Why Gods need messengers?

The idea that god chooses messengers is itself a human invention designed to protect the message from scrutiny. If god spoke clearly and universally, prophets would be unnecessary. The very existence of prophets is evidence of human mediation. They are translators, editors, and enforcers of belief. Their humanity leaks through constantly, despite centuries of reverence trying to conceal it.
